Acupuncture for Neurological disorders
Some forms of pain/numbness/cramps/other symptoms can be directly derived from the nervous system itself (central, peripheral, and autonomic nerves) or derived from other primary causes. Some symptoms such as mild headaches are manageable under medication, but the cure of most neurological disorders are challenging and some are even called degenerative and irreversible diseases under modern medicine.
In our perspective, acupuncture is a powerful tool to manage and treat patients with severe headaches/migraines, cranial nerve pain (trigeminal N, facial N, facial spasm, etc.), and pinched nerve pains.
For shingles and Ramsay Hunt syndrome, we so often see much better results comparing to conventional treatment.
For central nerve related or autoimmune-related disorders they are in general not easy or difficult to be cured, however we see many different results that some patients get miracle improvements and some patients recognize a delay of degenerative disorders.
