Eight Constitutions - Cholecystonia

Cholecystonia is characterized by its superior or strong gall bladder (liver) and inferior large intestine (lung). This constitution is also recognized for having a considerably strong small intestine (heart) and a relatively weak bladder (kidney).

​

Frequent bowel movement and discomfort in the lower abdomen is common for Cholecystonias who consume seafood often because seafood further suppresses an already weak large intestine and stimulate naturally-excited gall bladder and liver, causing illness. Consumption of seafood may also cause arthritis, skin problems, high cholesterol, and obesity. When ill, cholecystonias tend to lose their charitable nature, grow negative and anxious, which can eventually cause insomnia or depression.

Milk (warm), Dairy products, Butter, Cheese, Egg yolk, Rice(white), African/Indian millet, Beans, Soybean, Corn, Pea, Red bean, Kidney bean, Fermented soybean (Natto), Peanut, Almond, Cashew Nut, Pistachios, Pecan, Pine nut, Acorn, soy milk, Tofu, Rice (white), African/Indian Millet, corn, oat, Perilla Oil, Soy oil, corn Oil, Canola Oil, Potato, Yam, Beet, Chinese Bellflower, Taro, Codonopsis lanceolate, Burdock, Pumpkin, Zucchini, Eggplant, Avocado, mushroom, Sugar (sucrose), Melon, Lychee, Antlers of the Deer, Schisandra Chinensis, Arrow root, Squalene, Vit. A, D (in food), Vit.
