Anxiety and Depression

Depression and anxiety runs through my family tree. I am the mother of two children and wife of the sweetest husband in the world. Yet at the same time, I tried commiting suicide for four times. My mother suffered from the same depression and eventually killed herself. Last month, after my last attempted suicide, my husband took me to Dr. Kim on his friend's urging. 
 
     Dr. Kim diagnosed that my mental problems might be also conneted to subscribing to a wrong kind of diet. Rather than the vegetarian diet that I upheld for almost twenty years, I was to eat more beef an educe vegetable consumption. My constitution, according to Dr. Kim, is so formed that vegetable intensive diet does more harm than good, including the worsening of depression and anxiety. Now, I had been told my whole life to equeate meat with unhealthiness, and vegetable with well-being, and Dr. Kim's instruction was so contrary to my long-held belief that I didn't readily follow his advice in the beginning.
 
     I did begin receiving acupuncture treatments, however, two times a week. even just after the first treatment, I felt that something that was clogging up my mind began to falter away a bit. Placing my trust on Dr. Kim, I subscribed to his herbal medicine a month later from my first acupuncture tratment, and began eating the foods that Dr. Kim picked out for me that go along naturally with my constitution. the result was markedly more cheerful and rejuvenated mindset. My daughter started brightening up from about two months later then I did. Hubby, my husband, by the way, completely got over the back pain after six acupuncture sessions with Dr. Kim. He overexerted himself once again at golf course and is getting Dr. Kim's help yet again. Our family's well being, both mental and physical, has come to depend largely on Dr. Kim.

Carpal tunnel syndrome/ Back pain

Prior to acupuncture, I tried physical therapy and chiropractic but the level of the pain remained same. I also tried acupuncture with another local acupuncturist, and was about the same. After researching, I decided to try 8 constitution acupuncture. After several treatments, the pain level gradually subsided and I was able to stop taking the pain medication, no longer needed the wrist braces. After 16 treatments, I feel very minimal feeling. It was a wonderful experience. I refered my coworker for his back pain, and she also satisfied with the treatment.

Back pain

My family physician referred me to Dr. Kim. She said she referred about 20 patients to Dr. Kim with back and joint pains by far and most patients reported good results. I suffered from back pain and had two surgeries, but the pain didn't wear off. I was so skeptical and negative for getting acupuncture treatment in the beginning. Surprisingly, after one treatment, my feeling of pain diminished by 70%. I had acupncture treatment twice a week for three months and my pain level is 1 or 2 out of 10. Previous level before acupuncture was, I would say, 8. It was extreme pain. I am continuing treatment once a week for maintanece. I am so excited about the improvement.

I saw Dr. Kim today for my back pain and I already feel much better. So weired.  I had surgeries twice for my back and suffered from it with sharp pain for 7 years. How could this happen. I've tried a few different acupuncturists in this area that weren't helpful. I will continue to get treatments with Dr. Kim.

     At 87, I doggedly carried out one day after another with bodyache all over my body and especially the soul-crushing back pain that reaches its peak at every dawn. My physician blamed fibromyalgia, but blaming alone didn't help relieving me of pain. My good friend mary, now crisp 94 year-old, recommended Dr. Kim, whom, she praised for healing her own back pain. I am 63 years old and had suffered from what medical doctors said Menieres disease. Before I tried acupuncture, I never believed acupuncture. My new family doctor suggested me to try acupuncture with Dr. Kim.
Unbelievable. After one treatment, my symptoms disappeared. How can this happen? I still wonder acupuncture treatment really fixed my disease. I hadn't done anything on that day except for acupuncture treatment. I think Dr. Kim's treatment played a major role taking away my meniere's symptom.

Ulcerative colitis

I was referred by my family physician for my sciatic pain. I am also ulcerative colitis patient. Dr. Kim said that he treats with immune diseases. So I asked him to treat me with ulcerative colitis first. I had three treatments per week and each treatment took less than 10 minutes. He applies Korean style acupuncture and uses totally different types of acupuncture skill. Dr. Kim said that is better for internal problems. I handn't noticed much difference until 3rd weeks, and began to have skepticism in my mind. From 4th week the symptoms were gradually reduced. I still have acupuncture tratment with Dr. Kim for maintenance and I feel so much better. I don't take any medication.

Atopic dermatitis/constipation

My young child girl began suffering from terrible atopic dermatitis around when she was two year-old. I became more expert in atopic dermatitis than average doctors, studying and trying numerous treatments on her on my own. A colleague from my work recommended that I visit Dr. Kim for what she called 'constitution examination'. She testified that, after several months's treatment and sticking to Dr. Kim's diet plan, her constipation and skin condition saw much improvement and eventually dissapeared. The very notion of individual constitutions interested me, and I visited just for one time consultation. In our initial meeting, Dr. Kim showed great depth and scope of medical knowledge and his professionalsim impressed me deeply, and I decided to entrust my daughter to his care. To tell the truth, I thought of giving up in the very beginning, as I didn't see quite as dramatic improvement as I expected. At some point, though, my daughter began scratching less and less. She is nine-year-old now, so she's been suffering from itchiness for full seven years/ And then, with Dr. Kim's treatment and advice on diet, she does not suffer as much. In fact, my girl now voluntarily eats only the foodstuff that Dr. Kim recommends her based on 8 constitution diet. I don't know what hellish time we would still have had to go through if we hadn't meet Dr. Kim. He is now the family physician of us all.

I have been suffering from urinary problems for mor than 5 years with difficulty initiating stream and pain during urination. Uro doctor suggested me to take a surgery. But a friend of mine, which is a internal medicine physician, suggested me to try acupuncture prior to surgery. It worked. Trigeminal neuralgia

I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to Dr. Kim for his care, passion, and knowledge. I had been suffering from trigeminal neuralgia for 8 years and living in the hell. I visited all kinds doctors with no relief. I tried acupuncture too, but it didn't work out. I was in hopless situation. One day my husband heard from his colleague about Dr. Kim's uniqueness. I am 75 years old woman and had not been able to sleep more than 2 hours for over 35 years. I had often stayed up in bed throught the night. My friend at the senior community center told me to try acupuncture with Dr. Kim. After two treatments, I slept about 4 hours. For the next couple of treatment I slept 2 hours as usual. After 5th or 6th treatment, I was able to sleep about 5 hours. It has been 2 years now since I saw Dr. Kim. I keep continuing treatment with Dr. Kim twice a month. Dr. Kim is an excellent practioner of acupuncture. I have been seeing him for a few months for the wrist pain and constipation. He treated my wrist pain in just a few treatments. With trust I started getting treatment for constipation. Dr. Kim told me that it might take some time to see the improvement for I have been having this problem for more than 30 years. Yes, it had been very bad and I had tried numorous methods to lesson my symptom through my life. I had 3 treatments per week in the beginning and now get one treatment each week. He helped me again. Diabetes

Having aupuncture with Dr. Kim is the best treatment I've ever had for diabetes. I've been to many internal medicine doctors. Dr. Kim, acupuncturist, is the best so far. 8 constitution regimen. It really works. How we eat is the most important thing. But we don't know which caterories of food are especially beneficial for us even though we have different response from foods. Dr. Kim will tell you about your system. I am sure that you will have the same experience as I had.
